Biography

Short Description

Srečko Huth is associated with Wikidata identifier Q18645198, but he does not appear in the principal martyrologies, synaxaria, or modern catalogues of saints and blesseds of the Catholic, Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, or related churches. No reliable historical source supplies a verified year or place of birth, a year or place of death, or a place of burial for this individual. Standard biographical dictionaries and ecclesiastical directories likewise do not yield a confirmed curriculum vitae.

The given name Srečko belongs to the South Slavic onomastic tradition and is used as a masculine personal name in Croatian, Slovenian, and neighbouring communities. The surname Huth is of German linguistic origin. These facts of naming do not by themselves establish nationality, confession, occupation, or century of activity, and no archival or published notice has been found that would allow those details to be fixed with certainty.

There is no evidence that Srečko Huth ever held the see of Rome or the Coptic patriarchate of Alexandria, nor that he occupied any Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, or Church of the East patriarchal or catholicosal throne. No feast day, list of patronages, or act of beatification or canonization by a recognised ecclesiastical authority can be attached to his name. Information concerning marriage, children, or membership in a religious order is equally absent from accessible historical literature.

Because the subject remains obscure in the printed historical and hagiographical record, a fuller reconstruction would be speculative. The present notice therefore confines itself to what can be stated with certainty: the lack of corroboration for the usual biographical and cultic data. Anyone seeking further information would need to examine references attached to the Wikidata item itself or to search regional archives in Central and South-Eastern Europe.
