Biography

Short Description

No reliable historical or hagiographical source available in verified reference works confirms a biographical record for Vicente López de Uralde Lazcano corresponding to the cited Wikidata identifier. Standard dictionaries of saints, episcopal catalogues, papal and patriarchal lists, and major national biographies do not yield a matching cleric, religious, or public figure whose life can be dated or localized with confidence. In the absence of such sources, birth and death years, places, burial, religious profession, and family status cannot be stated.

The personal name is Spanish in form, with Vicente as a masculine given name long used in Iberia and Spanish America, López as a widespread patronymic, and Uralde and Lazcano as surnames of Basque toponymic character (Lazcano/Lazkao being a known locality in Gipuzkoa). Onomastic pattern alone does not establish identity, nationality of birth, or century of life, and must not be treated as a substitute for documentary evidence.

Nothing in the documented succession of the Bishops of Rome or of the Coptic Popes of Alexandria, nor in the lists of Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Coptic, or Church of the East patriarchs and catholicoi, corresponds to this name. No feast, patronage, beatification, or canonization is recorded in the Roman Martyrology, the Acta Sanctorum, or comparable calendars that can be checked against this subject.

Because the figure is not attested in the historical literature that can be verified here, no narrative of ministry, martyrdom, office, or cult can be constructed without invention. Further identification would require primary records (parish books, religious-order necrologies, civil registers, or a stable encyclopedic article) that are not available for confirmation in this context.
